First up is MARK MACREADY AND THE ARCHANGEL MURDERS, from CM Films, an award winning comedy horror short which has been taking the festivals by storm all over the world..

Manchester. Present Day. Supernatural crime hub of the 21st century, home to Detective Mark "Mac" Macready. When Macready wakes from a coma he was brutally put into by an unseen enemy, he is met with the unsettling news that his wife Christina is missing and a mass murdering monster has been on the rampage, which the press has affectionately dubbed ‘The Archangel’. It is up to Mac, and Mac alone, to find his missing wife, solve the case and bring the merciless Archangel to cold blooded justice.

Next up is the feature length comedy TUCK BUSHMAN AND THE LEGEND OF PIDDLEDOWN DALE, from Lumbfilm productions and the Discount Comedy Checkout, which was filmed entirely in the Leeds and Yorkshire area.

Tuck Bushman is an out of luck and out of work TV presenter / creature hunter. When strange things start to happen in the remote Yorkshire village of Piddledown Dale, the mayor Eli Nefarious, offers a reward to the person who can capture the culprit. Tuck jumps at the chance to claim the prize and heads off, with a snobby director in tow, to make a programme of his triumph and get his career back on track. Little does Tuck know that there is more brewing in the village than tea and some old wounds and old flames will surface from his past.
